The True Dual system provides full length heat shields that over the 1-3/4 head pipes, which a majority of aftermarket muffler bodies will adapt perfectly. Another perk of acquiring this system is it is backed by Cobras limited Lifetime Warranty. Features: Full-length, 2-1/2 diameter heat shields cover the pipes from the exhaust ports to your muffler bodies (sold separately) The heat shields are a larger diameter than most other offerings on the market and the single-piece shields (especially on the rear pipe) are singular in their design and effectiveness The added benefit is that the larger heatshields will deflect more engine heat away from the rider, making it noticeably cooler for the rider and passenger The pipes were also designed to deliver optimal torque and power while increasing the stock bikes ride ability right in the sweet spot of the torque curve The system consists of headpipes and heat shields and all of the mounting hardware needed to complete the installation The headpipes 1-3/4 diameter ensures the stock mufflers and most aftermarket mufflers will fit You can reuse your OEM mufflers or match with any of Cobras slip on mufflers for optimum performance
