Alpinestars Tech-Air Off-Road System The Tech-Air Off-Road System, birthed and perfected under the extreme conditions of the Dakar Rally, brings unparalleled active airbag technology to off-road riding. Engineered to withstand the harshest terrains, this system is versatile for all off-road challenges yet adaptable for street use. It comes equipped with 3 accelerometers (1 triaxial accelerometer) and 3 gyroscopes (1 triaxial gyroscope) integrated in the Electronic Control Unit (Ecu) to provide the best crash monitoring performance. Beyond its airbag functionality, it provides level 1 passive protection for the back and limbs, along with CE Level 2 chest protection, for protection from rocks and debris encountered during rides. The system also debuts a quick, field-serviceable cartridge replacement system that allows riders to swap in fresh, charged gas canisters as needed.
