Dr. Robert Cook Bitless Bridle Nylon Headstall is durable and suitable for horses with sensitive faces. While nylon is not as impervious to abuse as beta, these nylon headstalls are quite serviceable and should provide years of use with proper care. Dirt and sweat can work their way into the nylon fabric, so it is important to keep them clean. They can either be hand washed or dropped into a washing machine on the gentle or delicate cycle. Premium nylon webbing Triple ply construction with box/cross stitching Stainless steel hardware Machine washable To measure: Noseband: Measure 1 1/2 to 2 up from the corner of the horses mouth. From that point, measure the circumference of the horses nose. Headstall: From the same point (1 1/2 - 2 up from the corner of the horses mouth), run your tape measure to the very top of the poll (to the point right between the ears) and double that measurement number. This will determine the size headstall your horse needs.
